There is nothing my family and I love more than dining out together, so when we were invited to a payed visit to the newly-refurbished Turners Mill in Redcar we thought it was the perfect way to celebrate the start of the half-term break.
From the minute we arrived at this quintessential-British pub, we knew we were in for a lovely evening, as we were greeted by its cosy interior and hospitable staff.
With an extensive drink’s menu, it was quite difficult picking our chosen-tipple for the evening, with myself and mum eventually opting for a classic Aperol Spritz from the 2-for-£7.50 cocktail menu. Their drinks list also includes a large selection of gins, wines and cask ales, as well as a range of bottled beers, ciders and soft drinks.
In regards to food, the Turners Mill main menu offers a wide range of dishes, from burgers to pasta, to pub favourites and steaks. I opted for the delicious Bacon & Mushroom Carbonara with Chargrilled Chicken Breast, whilst my parents chose the Slow-Cooked Pork Ribs and the 7” Aberdeen Angus Beef Burger. The pub also offers a selection of fixed-price menus, as well as a Vegetarian and Vegan menu, so you’re sure to find something to tantalise your taste buds!
To finish off our evening, my Dad decided to indulge in the Treacle Sponge Pudding and custard accompanied by a Pot of Tea, whilst my mum and I sipped on a Pornstar Spritz and another Aperol Spritz, because why not? It was the weekend after all!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we would like to thank the lovely staff at the Turners Mill for their lovely hospitality, we will be certainly making another visit in the future!
I was offered a £50 voucher in return for my 100% honest views, this post is not sponsored.
