Hello, my Lovelies!x
Are you trying to banish those Winter blues whilst wishing you still had your Summer golden glow? If yes, then this is the perfect post for you as I’ll be sharing with you all my favourite highlighters, blushers and bronzers that will allow you to glow your way through the winter months.
For a lit from within look, I would suggest adding a couple of drops of liquid illuminator to your everyday foundation or primer, with my favourite’s both being from L’oreal Paris. A product that will always be found in my makeup bag is the Glow Mon Amour Highlighting Drops in Champagne .This product stays true to its shade name, with these pearly champagne drops being beautiful when blended in with your foundation, focusing mainly on your cheekbones and nose. For something a little more bronzey, I also love the True Match Liquid Glow Illuminator in Golden Glow, which can be used as both a highlight and bronzer.
Prefer a powder formula to a wet one? Then you’ll adore Obsession Cosmetic’s new Mega Highlighters .These marbleized highlighters allow you to create an intense three-dimensional glow, with my favourite shade being ‘metal’. Don’t be deceived by this bronzey shade, as when applied to your cheekbones, it’s silvery holographic undertones really come out to play! I also love the formula of the highlighters within the Loreal Paris Glow Highlighting Palette in the shade ‘Sunrise’, perfect for those days when you want to switch your look, the palette includes two creamy gold shades alongside a pearlescent pink and icy blue!
My favourite bronzer for this time of year is featured within the BECCA Cosmetic’s Be a Light Palette .This wearable shade is neither to redtoned or ashy, making it perfect for adding a natural glow and definition to the face, it is also perfect for every skintone. This multi-use palette is also perfect for travelling, as it also features a brightening powder, blur powder and marbelised blush. You can find a full review of it here.
For when I want to look super bronzed I also apply the Loreal Paris Bonjour Sunshine Liquid Bronzer to the low points of my face, as well as my jawline before my powder products for an enhanced glow.
For a natural flush of colour, I most often to tend to gravitate towards pink toned blushers throughout the winter months. My new favourite blush trio is the Kate for Rimmel London Sculpting Palette in ‘Not so Shy’, a beautiful array of both matte and shimmer blushes with a dusky pink to a burgundy shade range. Did I also mention that it’s just £6.99!
What is your favourite face product? and stay tuned for a makeup look featuring these products!
