Hello, my Lovelies!x
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and what better way to celebrate it than spending time with your friends and family over delicious food and drink at ASK Italian. I was kindly invited by the Italian restaurant to sample their festive menu, and I wanted to share an insight of my wonderful visit with you all!
From the minute we arrived at ASK Italian at the Intu Metrocentre, we knew we were in for an enjoyable visit, as we were greeted by the restaurant’s dreamy decor and friendly staff.
Before dining, we sampled a taste of their craft raspberry still lemonade as well as a glass of their Prosecco Brut Doc, because is it really Christmas without a glass of fizz?
Moving onto the divine food dishes, we began with a starter of festive cheese fondue, consisting of a rich creamy fondue sprinkled with a garlic and herb crumb and served with baked dough balls. It’s quite simply delicious and is also perfect for sharing!
To follow we sampled a selection of their heavenly mains, including their prima pizza Natale, a stonebaked pizza topped with pulled pork belly porchetta, roquito pepper pearls, spinach and mozzarella on a tomato base. If pizza isn’t your thing, I would highly recommend their meatballs piccante grande, which consists of pork and beef meatballs baked on Italian bread in a spicy tomato sauce topped with mozzarella and mascarpone.
For those who are vegan and non-gluten, they also have a selection of festive set menu’s which is something that is hard to find at most restaurant chains!
Christmas is the time for overindulging so we couldn’t resist trying their snowball gnocchi, to which this choc-tastic dessert allows you to dip Nutella filled gnocchi into chocolate sauce and then swirl them into white chocolate curls. Simply delicious!
To get you into the party spirit, ASK Italian also have a selection delightful festive cocktails which for just a £2 upgrade are served in a disco ball sipper, and what’s even better is that you get to take them home! My favourite has to be the merry berry G&T, to which blackberry put’s a twist on their craft gin and tonic, and is garnished with a sprig of rosemary.
Overall we had an incredible first visit to ASK Italian, and I would like to say thank you to both the restaurant and Intu Metrocentre for inviting me to join in their festivities, and I can’t wait for my next visit! I would highly recommend you also take a visit to your local restaurant, and to view the rest of the festive menus or to book a table, make sure to check out their website.
Thank-you for reading
lots of love

I was offered a three-course meal and drinks in return for my 100% honest views, not sponsored.
