Hello, my lovelies!
As the evenings begin to get darker, the day’s get colder and we delve into the backs of our wardrobes for chunky knit jumpers, we most importantly think about the autumnal makeup items that are going to fill our makeup bags. Recently I’ve been playing around with burnt coppers, golden shimmers and matte plum tones on my eyes, and burgundy berry tones on my lips. Today I wanted to share with you all my transitional makeup favourites, I hope you enjoy!
I like my skin to look healthy and dewy throughout the cold months, and I bring life to my skin by using the L’Oreal Paris Glow Sunset Highlighting Palette which features an array of stunning golden tones. When applied to the high points of my face they create a beautiful light reflecting glow and they can also be used as shimmer shadows for a quick and easy eye look.
I also sweep the L’Oreal Paris Life’s a Peach Blush across the apples of my cheeks a natural flush of colour, and this pumpkin orange shade complements really my green eyes.
With a mixture of warm-toned matte, shimmer and press glitter shades, the Makeup Obsession Warm Up Eyeshadow Palette is my go-to palette for this season with the versatility to create an array of flawless autumnal eye looks.
Delving into my collection of single shadows, I have a new found love for the KIKO High Pigment Wet and Dry Eyeshadow in 11 Pearly Marsala and the Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 208 Light Gold. Pearly Marsala is a matte deep plum shade and Light Gold is a shimmery creamy gold, both so different in formula yet they are both so pigmented.
Any autumn lip look isn’t complete without a berry toned lip, with my top three favourite products being the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Liner in Stripped Brown, the NYX Liquid Suede in Soft Spoken and the Urban Decay Cream Vice Lipstick in Ravenswood.
