My Updated Skincare Routine 2018

Hello, my Lovelies!

If you are a fellow beauty lover like myself, you will know that in order to have flawless makeup application, you must first look after your skin and ensure that is in the best condition possible. In the past, I thought that in order to have immaculate blemish free skin that I had to use a wide range of products all with different uses and benefits. This was until I suffered a large breakout at the start of 18 and decided to strip back to a minimum amount of products and stick to a strict routine in order to restore my skin, this includes sticking to the soap and water method to clean my skin.

I begin by applying the Dove Pure and Sensitive Beauty Bar to wet flannel, buffing the product into the flannel until it begins to lather, I then wipe the flannel across my face, as you would a makeup wipe, to remove my makeup. I then repeat this step, this time applying the product to the cleansing head of the BeGlow Tia: All-In-One Sonic Skincare System and by doing so this allows me to thoroughly cleanse my skin, removing any other remnants of makeup, as well as excess oils and dirt.

The Dove Beauty Bar with it’s hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula is gentle on sensitive skin, and by containing a 1/4 of moisturising cream and mild cleansers to help protects your skin’s moisture, I’ve found that it has really helped to clear up my breakouts, without stripping my skin of its natural oils and feeling dry.

While using the BeGlow Tia it allows me gently cleanse my skin, and the sonic vibrations allow for me to pay particular attention to areas of congestion to prevent breakouts.

Once I have wiped off the residue of the beauty bar with a clean wet flannel and patted my face dry, I then use the Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix Cleansing Padsfocusing particularly on my T-Zone and Chin as these are where my skin often breaks out. As the Salicylic Acid deeply cleanses my pores, the Hylaronic Acid hydrate and plumps my skin, and the Dragons Blood restores my skin’s hydration.

I then use the titanium head of the Tia to apply my facial serum, by applying Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum to the head and by applying in an upwards motion, and the sonic vibrations, allow for me to gently massage the product into my skin allowing my skin to feel plump and hydrated. Using the combination of both the serum and Tia it also de-puffs and soothes my eye area, as well as defining and toning my jawline, cheekbones and chin.

To complete my skincare routine, I also apply a face mask on a weekly basis, using either the Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Mask or the Urban Outfitters Brightening Sheet Mask , to which after using my chosen mask, I once again use the titanium head of Tia to buff in the excess product from the mask.
