A Drugstore Makeup Haul

Hello, my Lovelies!

If you are a reoccurring reader of my blog, you will be aware of how much I love my drugstore makeup products, and with so many products being launched each week, it’s hard to resist picking up the latest launches from my favourite brands! Today I wanted to share with you all my new favourite products, and my current makeup bag essentials, I hope you enjoy!

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick in Mocha

I have previously mentioned how much I love the comfort matte formula of the Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks, and I couldn’t resist picking up another shade from the range. Mocha is the ultimate 90’s nude brown shade, which looks incredible when paired with bronzed skin and rust orange eye. And at just £5.99 each, the pigmentation and longevity of the lipsticks are incredible!

Max Factor Natural Brow Styler Clear Eyebrow Gel

I have always personally loved the look of having groomed brows, so a clear brow gel is one of the must-have makeup essentails, and this new launch from Max Factor is by far the best one I’ve ever used.

The long slanted wand allows me to precisely lock my brow hairs in place, whilst preventing a build-up of product allowing for my brows to look as natural as possible. I will defiantly be picking up some more brow products from the brand!

Makeup Revolution Nudes Collection Metallic Gloss in Lingerie

These new lip launches from MUR are very much similar to the NYX Cosmic Metals Metallic Lip Glosses, but these are a fraction of the price! The shade Lingerie is the most beautiful rose gold shade, that could be applied on top of any nude lip to add a subtle metallic pop!

The formula feels comfortable to wear on the lips, although it dries into a matte finish, the metallic sheen creates dimension and allows for your lips to look plump and defined.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Concealer Pomade in Light 01

I often stick to liquid concealers as I find that they are quicker and easier to apply than concealers that come in pots, but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I have this concealer pomade, as it is the perfect multi-use product.

Whilst I do not use this to conceal or brighten, I have been using it as an eyeshadow primer, to carve out my brows and to also neaten up my eyeshadow before applying liquid liner to create more of a defined flick. I will defiantly be picking up more shades from the range, in particularly the colour correcting pomades!

Collection Glam Crystals Liquid Eyeshadow in Aura 1

I often tend to stray away from glitters and pigments on my eyes, as I find them messy and hard to apply, but the new Collection Glam Crystals have allowed me to create beautiful glitter eye looks, by applying a smooth layer of liquid glitter to my eyelids!

The shade Aura is a beautiful pale gold that is perfect for applying to the inner corners to make any look pop! At just £3.99 each, I can’t wait to pick more shades from the range, as they are the ultimate dupe for the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Shadows.

Makeup Revolution Renaissance Illuminate Radiant In Rose

Everything about this illuminating palette from MUR is absolutely beautiful, from its rose gold packaging to the array of pink tones, that can either be worn individually or blended together to create the ultimate metallic pink shade! The buttery soft and highly pigmented formula allows you to apply a beautiful sheen of highlight to the highpoints of your face!

Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss Highlighter in Peach Kiss

One of my favourite drugstore products is the SophDoesNails highlighting palettes, and particular favourite shade within the palette is the peach toned highlighter, which I apply on top of my bronzer as an alternative to blusher to add a subtle flush of colour. I have found that Peach Kiss is the perfect dupe for this shade, with the same amount of pigmentation whilst having a subtle rose gold undertone which looks incredible when applied to the skin.

Revolution Pro Eyeshadow Refills Pack in Millennial

I have recently begun building my own makeup palette, as it allows to create a personalised palette featuring shades from my different eyeshadow palette, and I have found that this collection of single shadows from the new Makeup Revolution Pro range are some of the most pigmented magnetic shadow pans. With an array of bronze and burgundy matte tones and a beautiful golden shimmer, when combined together they create the most incredible eye look!

  1. That liquid glitter looks like it would be a gorgeous product! I’m really into sparkles at the moment so I’m tempted to give that a go!
The matte lippie looks lovely too, I’ve never tried any of Rimmel’s liquid lipsticks which is surprising when Rimmel is one of my favourite drugstore brands!
    Fab post!

  2. I just did a blog post on what I picked up from the drug store recently! You’re right there is so many new things launching all the time it is hard to keep up! My favourite thing I picked up though was the Honey dew me up primer from Nyx!
