My January Favourites

Hello, my Lovelies x

After what seems to have been the longest start to 2018, we are finally in February! In January, I discovered some incredible products, some of which I had heard a lot of people talk about, as well as some hidden gems, and I just had to share them all with you!

I hope you enjoy!

Gucci Bloom Eau De Parfum

Gucci Bloom is the first designer perfume that I have bought myself, and I can see it being the first of many Gucci fragrance purchases after falling in love with this scent! First of all the packaging is so beautiful and minimalistic and is the perfect addition to my dressing table.

The sweet floral scent is perfect for the upcoming spring season, with keynotes of Jasmine, Rangoon Creeper and Tuberose.

RRP: £72.00

Umberto Giannini Blow Dry In A Bottle A Big Shiny Blow Out Spray and  Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker Smooth Serum

I have been using this hair duo on my hair since picking them up as part of a gift set at Christmas, and they really have transformed the quality of my hair. I featured them in my recent hair routine post, to which in the post I mentioned how I want to improve my hairs quality, as well as helping it to grow.

Umberto Giannini’s products always feel so luxurious and leave with salon quality results, the pair together make my hair feel so soft and silky, and prevent frizziness especially after using heated styling tools.

RRP: £7.00 and £8.00

Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum

Nip+Fab is a range that is massively loved by bloggers, and now I understand why! The plumping serum has allowed my skin to feel plump and nourished during the winter, my overall complexion also looks a lot brighter and healthier. Although at first, I was little anxious about how the product did make my skin tingle, which was just a sign of my skin beginning to plump.

RRP: £19.95

Primark Primer Water

I’ve heard so many people talk about how much they love the Smashbox Priming Water but before investing in the hype, I decided to pick up the Primark dupe, and it has to be one of the best priming waters on the market!

I spritz my face before applying my base products, to which I find that my base stays in place all day long without any creasing or oiliness, and I also set my entire makeup look with the spray to lock everything in place. I also use it to dampen my brushes before applying eyeshadow and highlighter, and it really does enhance their pigmentation. I would defiantly recommend this if you are on the hunt for a multi-use product!

RRP: £3.00

NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Illuminating Primer  and L’Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Glow Illuminator in Icy Glow

I mentioned how I have been using these two together in my Best of the Illuminating Bases post, applying Born to Glow to the entirety of my face, and the illuminator to the high points of my face. I find that using the two together makes any of my foundations a lot dewier,  allowing me to have a healthy natural glow without looking cakey.

RRP: £12.50 and £8.99

Makeup Revolution Soph X Highlighter Palette

I am always blown away by the quality of the MUR highlighters, and this palette created in collaboration with SophdoesNails doesn’t fail to disappoint. Each of the shades are beautifully pigmented and blend like an absolute dream! I have been using a combination of the three golden shades to highlight the high points of my face, whilst using the two bronze shades as bronzer toppers and eyeshadows.

RRP: £8.00

Benefit Complexionista Palette

The complexionista palette is the ultimate face palette for any Benefit lover, as it includes some of the brand’s bestselling products! I adore the Hoola and Hoola Light as I find that by swirling the two together on my brush it allows me to have a flawless bronze glow. The Watt’s Up creamy highlighter also looks beautiful when applied to the inner corners and brow bone!

RRP: £26.50

L’oreal Brow Artiste Plumper in Dark Medium/Dark

L’oreal is my favourite high street makeup brands, and the brow artiste plumper is one their best products in my opinion. It improves the longevity of the rest of my brow products, as well as adding texture and a slight tint to my brows.

RRP: £6.99

NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi

Some of my favourite liquid lipsticks available on the high street at the Soft Matte Lip Cream’s, as there is such a huge shade range, and Abu Dhabi is now my go-to lip colour.  It is the perfect light brown nude, which looks beautiful with a rose gold gloss, and the lightweight creamy formula is perfect for everyday wear.

RRP: £6.00

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15

I am not often one to fall in love with an expensive base product, due to the fact of the high price tag when it comes to repurchasing, but this most certainly one product that I will repurchase. Although the formula of the concealer is full coverage, it feels so lightweight and doesn’t crease into my fine lines. I also love how brightening it is under my eyes, and how it erases any redness and blemishes.

RRP: £18.00
