Benefit Complexionista Palette Review : The Ultimate Face Palette

Hello, my Loves x

Benefit is a brand that I rarely invest in, but whenever a product of their’s ends up in my makeup collection I am always impressed by the quality of the beautiful products, I also love how cute and girlie their packaging is!

I was gifted their new Complexionista Palette for Christmas, to which the palette includes some of the brands cult face products, including two shades of Boi-ing concealer, Hoola, Hoola Light, Watt’s Up and Dandelion Twinkle. In my opinion, it is the perfect face palette for travel, or to even carry on an everyday basis in your handbag, as it really does have everything you need besides a blush.

Each of the products are highly pigmented and blend into my other base products beautifully,Β  and I can already tell that is going to be one of my favourite products of the year.

I would personally use the Boi-ing concealers to colour correct and to conceal blemishes and redness, as I have found in the past they can be quite drying under my eyes, although they do have the perfect amount of coverage to be used on other areas of my face.

I’ve owned Hoola in the past to which I often found that the red undertone of the bronzer made me look orange and muddy, but I have been applying the Hoola Light over the top and blending the two together and it really creates my perfect bronzer shade.

When it comes to the two highlighters, the Watt’s Up creamy highlight is a beautiful champagne shade that I have been using to highlight my inner corner, my brow bone and my cupids bow as these are the area’s where I really like to glow and enhance. Whilst Dandelion Twinkle is a powder highlight with more of a rose gold tint, that I have been using on the top of my cheekbones and I could even use this a blush to give me a tiny flush of colour.

Overall I am so happy with this palette, and I can’t wait to feature it in my upcoming makeup looks for spring and summer!
