Hello, my Loves x
There are many perks of being a blogger, but in order to achieve those perks, you have to be passionate about your blog, whilst staying true to yourself and writing about brands and products that you truly love. I have worked hard on my blog for the last two years, and a few weeks ago I received an invitation to the Makeup Revolution Halloween party, to which I felt so overwhelmed and overjoyed that they wanted me to be a part of one of their events.
I, of course, accepted the invitation, and on the 25th of October, myself, my mum and my sister took a long journey down from Teeside to London so I could attend the event, whilst exploring the beautiful city.
When we arrived in London, we stepped out of the coach station to be greeted by the beautiful Peggy Porschen Bakery, which was adorned with fresh flowers whilst customers tucked into their delicious cupcakes. We then made our way to Euston station, where along the way we had a brisk walk through Green Park, paid the queen a visit by stopping off at the Buckingham Palace gates, and window shopped at Dior, Victoria Beckham, Louis Vuitton and Giuseppe Zanotti.
After a lot of travelling from Euston Station, we finally arrived at our hotel, and after dropping off our bags and sprucing ourselves up, we made a trip to the London Designer Outlets! Where I treated myself to beautiful pillar box red Fiorelli purse, as well as having a delicious meal at Wagamamas. After a couple of hours of exploring the outlets and seeing the magnificent Wembley stadium, we decided that it was time to return back to the hotel and have a well needed good nights sleep.
When we awoke on the Thursday, I could feel the mixture of excitement and nerves of attending the event that evening build up inside of me!
We had already decided that during the day we would take a trip to Camden, where we explored the excentric markets, sampled the delicious street food and posed with the Amy Winehouse statue. I would defiantly recommend if you are considering making a trip to London, to spend a few hours of your trip exploring Camden, as it such a cultural and colourful part of London!
It was then time to head back to the hotel so I could get ready for the event, to which I decided to dress up as a cat, and I wore a plisse jumpsuit and a pair of delicate metal cat ears from New Look. When I arrived at the One Marylebone, the location of the party, I felt very overwhelmed, not only because of how big of an event it was but because I was about to meet the lovely Eleanor of Ellijt.
Eleonar over the last year has become one of my best friends, not only because of our similar interests in blogging and beauty but because of how down to earth and genuine a person she is. As soon as I was in her and her lovely boyfriend’s presence, they immediately made me feel calm and reassured that I was about to have one of the most amazing evenings that I have ever had.
I also had the opportunity to meet the beautiful Stephanie Tom’s, as well as catching up with my other blogging besties, Luce Stephenson, Amber Howe and Beth Dean.
I spent the evening drooling over the brand’s new releases, sipping on delicious drinks and tucking into the culinary delicacies that were available to us. We were also kindly given an amazing goody box!
It was a truly magical evening, and I felt so honoured to attend an event hosted by a brand I absolutely love! I would like to say a huge thank you to Makeup Revolution and I only hope that I will get to attend more events like it in the future.
On the Friday, we ended our trip by shopping on Oxford Street and New Bond Street, where I got to visit both the Lush and Victoria’s Secret Flagship stores!
Overall I had an amazing couple of days, and I can’t wait to return to London soon!
Thank you for Reading,
Lots of Love,
Hannah, x
This is so cool, congratulations! ❤
