Transitioning into Autumn…Makeup Staples

Hello, my Loves x

As the evening’s get darker, the day’s getting colder and the leaves start to fall, we begin to think about how we are going to dress for the autumn season, and more importantly the autumnal makeup items that are going to fill our makeup bags. Recently I’ve been playing around with rusty reds, burgundy and oranges on my eyes, and luscious berry tones on my lips. Today I wanted to share with you all my transitional makeup favourites, I hope you enjoy!

NYX Professional Makeup High Definition Blush in Intuition

I picked up my first NYX Blush recently in the shade Intuition, and I will most certainly be picking up more from the range! As I am not a huge blush fan, I prefer something subtle and peachy to just add a little bit of colour to my cheeks.

I would describe this as more of an ‘amber’ blush, as it has golden flecks of glitter running through it, which makes my green eyes pop! If you have tried any of the HD Blushes, I would love to know your favourite shades so I can pick them up for myself.

RRP: £6.00

3INA The Metallic Shadow in 501 & 506

If you are a reoccurring reader of Hannah’s Wonderland, you will know how big I am of the cosmetics brand 3INA, and their beautiful products. My particular favourites are their metallic eyeshadows, as they are so pigmented, and add the perfect amount of shimmer to my lids, especially when applied with a wet flat brush.

501 is a stunning golden copper shade, which when blended with warm browns and oranges creates the perfect autumnal smokey eye. Whilst 506 is a little bolder, a striking raspberry toned pink, and if you have green eyes, this is the perfect shadow for you!

RRP: £6.95

Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palette Flawless 3 Resurrection

I have been reaching for this palette every day, and I can already tell that I am going to have hit pan on the majority of the matte shades by the end of Autumn. On an everyday basis, I have been combining the matte browns and oranges with the 3INA 501 Shadow, and when wearing the 506 Shadow I’ve been blending it together with the fuschia pinks and rusty reds!

I can never fault Makeup Revolutions shadows, they are amazingly pigmented and blend like an absolute dream. I will also be picking up the brand new Flawless 4, it’s so beautiful!

RRP: £8.00

Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor in Dawn

Revlon has made me fall head over heels in love with cream sheen lipsticks again, with the glossy formula of their HD Gel Lipcolors. The shade Dawn is a lovely berry tone, which when paired over Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillowtalk Lip Cheat, creates the perfect autumnal lip. As these have a gloss finish, I did not expect them to be as long-lasting as they are, to which when wearing them I’ve only had to touch them up once or twice. I will also be picking up the shades Arabica and Desert!

RRP: £7.99

NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes

Did you really expect me not to include a nude liquid lipstick in this post? NYX Cosmetics are my favourite drugstore brand for lip products, and this is my first Soft Matte Lip Cream, and I am not the slightest bit disappointed! They are highly pigmented and easy to apply, making them the perfect handbag essential. Cannes is a cool toned nude, which can be paired with any kind of makeup look, and I will most certainly be expanding my collection of SMLC’s!

RRP: £6.00
