Hello, my Loves x
In my previous post, I shared with you all My Summer Makeup Must- haves, although when it comes to makeup in the summer, I find that lipsticks are what really makes a makeup look pop in the warm seasons. Today I wanted to share with you all my top lip picks, ranging from brights to nudes, and high street to high end. I hope you enjoy!
Now let’s start with the brights…
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Audacious & Striking Spectacular
If you are a reoccurring reader of my blog you will know how much these balms, and I have to say these two shades just scream summer to me. I have found that over the last couple of weeks, orange toned reds, and orange lipsticks in general really make my green eyes pop. The formula of the balms means that although you still are wearing a matte lip, they are extremely nourishing and I can ensure you that these will be some of my summer handbag essentials.
RRP: £7.99
Tanya Burr Beauty Lipstick in Wild Safari
I picked this lipstick up in Superdrug for just 70p! I love this punchy red shade, teamed with bronzed eyes and skin, it makes such a summer statement. It’s the perfect coral red and compliments my skin tone with or without a tan. I would suggest wearing this with a similarly toned liner, as I found that when I applied it for the first time that it did transfer quite a lot.

Onto something a little more subtle, my favourite nude shades…
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Rush
Rush is such an easy shade to wear and can be paired with any kind of look, as it is a subtle rose pink. This is my grab and goes lipstick, especially when it comes to packing my travel makeup bag. Although the formula of the lipstick is a cream finish, it does not slip and slide off your lips, and you don’t have to worry about it transferring. Vice Lipsticks really are my favourite lipsticks to buy!
RRP: £15.50
M·A·C Liptensity Lipstick in Medium Rare
Once again we have a matte lip product, and medium rare is much more of a pinky nude. The Liptensity Lipsticks make wearing a matte lipstick comfortable on the lips, as they are incredibly creamy and don’t leave your lips dry and chapped. M.A.C really do know how to create a great lipstick!
RRP: £17.50
L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paint in Hollywood Beige
Now onto something that has been featured quite a lot recently on my blog, I just love it so much! Hollywood Beige is more of a subtle coral, which once again compliments my green eyes. The formulation for a liquid lipstick is super creamy and hydrating, and when applied onto the lips it glides on like a dream. I’d like to thank Lydia Millen for introducing me to these!
RRP: £6.99

The Tanya Burr lipstick looks like such a stunning shade! I will have to try to wear more orange shades as I have green eyes too and look for anything to make them pop xx Brynnie
