Hello, my Lovelies! I have recently picked up a few new items from the drugstore, so if you are a drugstore girl like me then I hope you enjoy 🙂
If you are a reoccurring reader of my blog, you will know my base water of choice is the Mario Badescu Facial spray which you can find a review of here. As I am running low on the facial spray, I decided to pick this one up as Makeup Revolution’s products never fail to impress me!
The water feels light and fresh when spritzed onto the skin, it dries into your skin straight away whilst allowing your base products to glide onto your skin leaving you with a flawless base. You can also use it to dampen eyeshadows and highlight to make them more pigmented when applying.
The longevity of my makeup is unbelievable and my skin still feels fresh and my pores don’t feel clogged.
RRP : £6.00
I was a little hesitant when I first picked up this product, as not only can liquid lipsticks be drying on my lips, but as I have such a fair skin I tend to find that most brown-toned nudes don’t suit me. But I was wrong, as the Lip Lava is so moisturising and sets onto your lips and doesn’t budge when I eat or drink which always a bonus.
I have also found the perfect brown toned nude for me, as this one has a slight orange tint to it, so teamed with a brown smokey eye and a neutral blush it creates a perfect go to look! I will most certainly be purchasing more from the range.
RRP : £2.99
At first glance, you will see that this is the exact dupe of the Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette, which is on my list of products to try out! For almost half the price, this palette has two powder highlighters and 2 strobing balms, with each one being highly pigmented.
Personally, I prefer highlighters that have a pearlescent finish, which is why I love this palette as they give you a subtle glow. I am also impressed on how the balms do not break down my other liquid base products. I would highly recommend you add this to your collection!
RRP : £4.00
