Hello my Lovelies! As we all know when the drugstore does a great deal on cosmetics, we can’t help but get sucked into buying something. When I spotted Maybelline was 2 for £10, I knew exactly which two products I was going to buy!
There is no amount of praise I can give to Maybelline for creating this product, which has become my all-time favourite foundation out of all of the ones I have tried. First all of the shade range is great, so you are sure to find one perfect for your skin tone! Secondly, although this foundation is very high coverage, blurring your pores, redness and other imperfections. It creates a beautiful dewy glowing finish on the skin, which means with a little concealer and bronzer, you have perfect flawless skin in a matter of minutes. I also love how even though I have normal/oily skin especially round my t-zone it stays all day, so instead of my skin looking oily and the foundation slipping it keeps the dewy fresh skin effect. No wonder this foundation has the word ‘dream’ in its title!
I have to admit the first thing that caught my eye, was the beautiful packaging which certainly stands out from the bright packaged ones! But for me what is hidden by the packaging, honestly really disappointed me after all the hype I had heard about it, it’s just not impressive.
It certainly lengthens your lashes, but I need a mascara that gives me some volume and gives a curl to my lashes, something that naturally my lashes are missing. My favourite mascara is the Clinique High Impact Mascara, but with the price tag of £17.50, I’m hoping to find a drugstore dupe which does not look promising.
As for the brush, this also disappoints me as I feel like as it is curved I can’t fully reach mt lashes. I like my lashes to be voluminous, curled and thick, but sadly this just gives me length. So if you are one of these people with the perfect natural long curled lash this defiantly the mascara for you (whilst giving me some lash envy).
thank-you for reading
lots of love
