The Wonder Trio

There is nothing I love more during the cold evenings than curling up in bed with a magazine, after having a pamper night. So the November issue of In-style magazine was a dream, not only does it include fantastic content, including an interview with the beautiful Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. It also came with a trio of REN skincare, which I could not wait too try!

V-cense Revitalising Night Cream

“A night cream formulated to hydrate, recharge and revitalise the skin overnight leaving it looking radiant, smoothed and beautifully healthy.”

For a few months now I have had a small area of marks on my chin and forehead from mostly hormonal breakouts. I have been using the Garnier Essentials Fresh Essentials 24 Hour Hydrating Day Cream for what must be a year and although it is a great moisturiser for the day, I needed a cream that I could wear at night time which would not feel too heavy on my skin. As this cream says the formula is made to hydrate, recharge your skin (something that is defiantly needed after a day at uni) and also the cream revitalises your skin which means every morning I can’t wait to look at my skin as the marks are slowly starting to fade! I hope to soon repurchase the full size product.

Vita Mineral Active 7 Eye Gel

“A cooling, refreshing and hydrating gel that treats revives and brightens the delicate eye area while minimising the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.”

Although I am not at the age where I can see wrinkles appearing, I would still like to prolong them for as much as I can. Although through using this gel I can see that it is already starting to lighten pigmentation around my eye area so I would definitely repurchase the full size. This gel is very gentle and non-irritating, unlike Benefits It’s potent eye cream which left my eyes very red and dry, as the cream is very cooling and refreshing to apply.

Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream

“A multi-active day cream that replenishes the skin with moisture and vital nutrients. Powerful antioxidants, trace elements and vitamins further protect, and energize the skin to keep it looking fit, radiant and youthful.

The first thing I noticed about the moisturiser was that it had the same refreshing scent as the rest of the REN skincare line. I cannot describe this scent, other than it smells very natural and calming. The fragrance is mild and is not something that lingers on the skin at all. Like I said when talking about the night cream I have combination skin that can be sensitive skin which can be hard when trying to find skincare that doesn’t break me out, and although it says the cream is designed for all skin types. I was slightly scared on whether it would be suited to my skin. On first application my skin loved this product. Sometimes it will take a few days for my skin to adjust, but instantly I noticed that my skin had no reactions or breakouts. A must-have repurchase!

Over all I think these products make the perfect ‘wonder trio’ to fit into anyone’s skincare routine. Even though these products are on the higher end of the scale when it comes to drug-store skincare I defiantly think they are worth the investment. If any of you have tried any other products from REN skincare please let me know in a comment below so I can try them for myself!

Thank-you for reading

Lots of love
